Our portfolio includes commercial and non-commercial web presentations. Our published non-commercial sites will soon be extended, (this site is still being reconstructed), and these non-commercial sites are offered for use as web-visitors see fit; however we do ask that if you enjoy, or make use of, those facilities that you consider making a donation to any of the organisations that we actively support :-
- The tv documentary series "Monkey Business" on the "Animal Planet" channel (and more recently on Channel 5 nationally) covers the work of Jim and Alison Cronin in rescuing any primate that they hear about. (Dr Alison now leads much of the work alone since the sad departure of her husband Jim in early 2007.)
At some point, it will be realised that their work deserves, and will be granted, similar recognition as that of Jane Goodall, or Joy and George Adamson.
Visit their website and send them something which helps. - Wateraid work to bring sanitation and safe drinking water to some of the poorest people in the world.
- MSF make no selection about delivering healthcare. If it's possible for them to reach people who are suffering, (from natural disaster or from man-made disorder), they will be there trying to alleviate some of that suffering. Their brave efforts deserve support.
- Sightsavers do exactly what their title says - they save sight. The process in which they save sight is, with the skills they possess, relatively easy. Some of the poorest people in the world are blinded by the simplest of causes and a surprisingly small donation can prove to be surprisingly effective.
- Plan International work with local communities to try to alleviate some of the effects of poverty and help the children of those communities.
- The NSPCC work in trying to end cruelty to children.
- Amnesty International work to protect the human rights of people worldwide.
- World Wildlife Fund work to conserve endangered species and protect threatened habitats.
- Unless there is a valid medical explanation there is no reason not to give blood. There is also no better feeling than being told that your blood/plasma is directly being used to help keep somebody else alive. Give blood - do it today.
